Max

Max is a character from the Hoenn Region. He is the brother of May, and the son of Gym Leader Norman. At the time of his debut he was seven years old.

He only appears in the Anime series.

Max takes his journey with his sister and friends May, Ash and Brock. Max does not own a Pokémon of his own as he is too young to be a trainer. Max in the series takes over Misty's job of pulling Brock away from when he falls in love with a woman, which is nearly every woman he sees.

The job of pulling Brock away from a woman was taken over by Brock's Croagunk, who would do so by using Poison Jab.
