Mega Kangaskhan uses the Parental Bond Ability, which makes each of its moves hit two times. The damage inflicted by the second hit is reduced by 50%. If the move used is a damaging move, each hit is capable of afflicting Secondary Effects and Critical Hits.
Mega Kangaskhan can be obtained by using the Mega Stone while Kangaskhan is holding a Kangaskhanite in battle.
Mega Kangaskhan has yet to appear in a Spin-Off game as of writing.
Trading Card Game
Mega Kangaskhan resides in the Uber tier of competitive battling. It is a nice offensive threat due to its access to priority Fake Out and Sucker Punch, both of which are boosted by Parental Bond. This allows for Mega Kangaskhan to take care of offensive leads like Deoxys-A by rendering the Focus Sash useless and being able to take it out easily. It also is in a nice Speed tier, being able to outspeed base 90s like Primal Kyogre and Ho-oh. Despite these positive traits, Mega Kangaskhan does take up a Mega slot, and with some terrific Mega Pokémon that provide more utility or sweeping prowess, it is somewhat overshadowed. Parental Bond can be a double-edged sword as Mega Kangaskhan could take significant damage from abilities like Iron Barbs, shortening its longevity.
