Mega Sableye (Mega Evolution of Sableye, which is activated by using the Mega Stone. It was revealed at E3 2014 during the Nintendo Kids Conference, set to appear in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. It is a Dark/Ghost-Type, and is known as the Darkness Pokémon.) is the
Mega Sableye has a large jewel, which it uses as a strong defensive mechanism in battle. From behind the jewel it can turn defense into offense, exploiting the opponents' weaknesses the moment it gets an opening. Apparently, the jewel will harden into such a strength that no attack will leave a scratch on it!
This crimson gem also matches its eyes, which are now crimson in color. Mega Sableye's fangs are more readily apparent as well.
Mega Sableye doesn't have any visible differences to differentiate between male and female.
Sableye doesn't appear in Omega Ruby, but can be traded or transferred to said game, with the Sablenite located in Sootopolis City. A Sableye that is holding this Mega Stone can Mega Evolve in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Mega Sableye was so dominant in the OU Metagame in the sixth Generation it was banned to the Uber tier. With its amazing ability Magic Bounce, Mega Sableye is a great stallbreaker, status absorber, entry hazard bouncer, and counter to Pokémon that use Taunt and defensive Pokémon. This makes Mega Sableye a common staple on stall teams, where it thrives in being able to check a huge chunk of the OU metagame with its great typing, which grants it immunities to Fighting, Normal, and Psychic attacks, and high 50/125/115 bulk. Mega Sableye's access to Will-O-Wisp makes it a great Pokémon to stop physical attackers while having reliable recovery in Recover to offset any taken damage. Its best sets include a utility set that acts as a mixed wall and counter to hazard setters and a Calm Mind set that gives Mega Sableye a means to sweep opposing defensive teams by giving it offensive prowess. Mega Sableye's biggest flaws are its low Speed and HP stats, both of which can lead to Mega Sableye being overwhelmed powerful wallbreakers. While Mega Sableye can bounce back status moves like Toxic, it is not immune to Scald or Lava Plume burns which can wear down Mega Sableye plenty, especially considering it cannot carry Leftovers.
Mega Sableye is also a great option in the Uber tier of competitive battling, where it is a stall staple and great Pokémon utility wise. Magic Bounce gives Mega Sableye to virtually counter the majority of hazard setters in the Uber tier, including Pokémon like Deoxys-S. Mega Sableye's immunities to Fighting, Normal, and Psychic attacks allow it to effectively counter very threatening sweepers such as Extreme Killer Arceus, Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Kangaskhan, and Deoxys-A. It can also cripple or stop many support Pokémon from doing their job effectively, being able to take care of defensive Yveltal, Klefki lacking Dazzling Gleam, Tyranitar, Lugia, and Ferrothorn. However, Mega Sableye can be overwhelmed by some of the most significant Pokémon in the metagame, including Primal Groudon, Ho-oh, and Mega Salamence. It can also be used as set-up bait for Pokémon like Darkrai, Geomancy Xerneas, and Primal Kyogre, all of which can take advantage of Mega Sableye's lack of great offensive prowess.
