Meloetta (メロエッタ) is the 154th Pokémon in the Unova Pokédex. It is a Normal/Psychic and Normal/Fighting type, and is known as the Melody Pokémon.

Meloetta uses the Serene Grace Ability. This Ability doubles the chances of an Attack's secondary effect taking place.

It is amongst the Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation V. This Pokémon is capable of changing forms. When it learns the attack Relic Song in Castelia City and uses that move in battle, Meloetta changes from its Aria Forme to its Pirouette Forme. The Transformation also changes Meloetta's typing; before using Relic Song it is a Normal/Psychic type. After using Relic Song, its type changes to Normal/Fighting. This change only lasts until Meloetta is switched out.

Meloetta doesn't evolve and doesn't have a pre-evolved form.

Meloetta is in the Undiscovered Egg Group; like most Legendary Pokémon Meloetta cannot breed. It takes Meloetta 1,250,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Meloetta has a feminine look to it. Its long hair takes on the appearance of a musical staff with a few notes, with a few bar lines that take the appearance of musical measures.

Meloetta has been released in a number of events worldwide, including an upcoming Gamestop promotion in North America that will run from March 4, 2013 to March 24, 2013. This promotion is for all Generation 5 games excluding spin-offs.
