Missingno, the Glitch Pokémon, is one of the many remnants from the beta testings of the games Pokémon Red and Blue. This Pokémon is the most famous glitch known worldwide. It possesses a stunning resemblance to 'M, both in looks and movesets, but their behaviors vary greatly, knowing that Missingno actually possesses three other forms.

Game Appearances
Red & Blue
Missingno is obtained after activating the Coffee Man Glitch and surfing up and down the east coast of Cinnabar Island. It is the most common Pokémon seen via this method since Missingno is the 'placeholder' of unused hexidecimals in the game's programming. It is well known for its ability to increase the 6th item in your Bag by 128.
Yellow
In Pokémon Yellow, this Pokémon makes its debut as the nutorious 'Yellow Missingno', one of the worst glitches ever encountered. It usually freezes upon encounter, sometimes giving the message that it is trying to learn a move of some sort. It is extremely hard to capture since it dodges every kind of Pokéball except the Master Ball, and reports of unusual overworld effects are common after the battle ends.
