Ninjask (テッカニン) is the 43rd Pokémon in the Hoenn Pokédex. It is a Bug/Flying Type, and it is known as the Ninja Pokémon.
Ninjask uses the Speed Boost Ability. This Ability increases its Speed stat by one stage each turn that it is in battle except for the turn in which the Pokémon was switched into battle. A second Ability is available to Ninjask from the Dream World, the Infiltrator Ability. This Ability nullifies the effects of the opposing team's walls when the Pokémon with this ability attacks, such as Reflect and Light Screen, for examples.
Nincada can evolve into a Ninjask starting at Level 20. At the time Nincada evolves into Ninajsk, if you have at least one Poké Ball in your inventory and have five Pokémon or less in your party, you'll also obtain Nincada's other form: Shedinja, with the same moves that your Ninjask has when it evolved, including any moves that Ninjask learns on the level that it evolved.
Ninjask is in the Bug Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 3,840 Steps to hatch. It takes Ninjask 600,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

[edit] Game Information
[edit] Original Games
Ninjask can only be obtained by evolving a Nincada in all games that it appears in from Generation III onward.
[edit] Spin-off Games
Ninjask appears at Secret Storage 12, Endless Level 21, Forever Level 21 and Mr. Who's Den in Pokémon Trozei!.
Ninjask can only be obtained by evolving a Nincada in the first Mystery Dungeon game. In Explorers of Time, Explorers of Darkness and Explorers of Sky, Ninjask appears at Quicksand Cave DPB5-B10. Ninjask is exclusive to Blazing Adventure Squad in Mystery Dungeon 3, appearing on the first 23 floors of Weird Mountain.
In all the Mystery Dungeon Games, only an empty slot in your party is needed to obtain Shedinja when it evolves.
Ninjask appears at Lila Forest in Pokémon Ranger, but the Field Assist Tackle is required to shake it from the tree that it hides in. Ninjask also appears in Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, but the Slam Field Assist needs to be used on a tree to find where it is hiding. Ninjask does not appear in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs.
Ninjask can be found at Misty Edgewater Forest 2-2 in Pokémon Rumble Blast after completing the game.
[edit] Trading Card Game
Ninjask appears in six sets. It is listed as an Uncommon Card in the EX Dragon, Legends Awakened, Supreme Victors and Dragons Exalted sets. Its other two appearances are as Rare Cards in the EX Dragon and EX Deoxys sets.
[edit] Anime/Manga Information
[edit] Anime
A Ninjask was being used by the power-hungry Colonel Hansen in the episodes The Princess And The Togepi! and the next episode A Togepi Mirage!, which saw Misty's Togepi evolve into a Togetic.
Frontier Brain Brandon used a Ninjask in his 4-on-4 battle against Ash in the episode Pace - The Final Frontier! It was defeated by Ash's Squirtle. Ash's Sinnoh region rival Paul used a Ninjask in his Sinnoh League battle against Ash. It managed to force Ash to recall his Gliscor, but it was eventually beaten by Ash's Infernape.
[edit] Movies
Wild Ninjask appear in the films Destiny Deoxys and Zoroark: Master of Illusions.
[edit] Manga
Ninjask's Manga info is unknown at this time.
[edit] Pokémon Information
[edit] Competitive Battling
Ninjask finds itself in the Never-Utilized, Rarely-Utilized and Over-Utilized Tiers of Competitive Battling. Ninjask is the second-fastest Pokémon in the game, trailing only Speed Forme Deoxys, and its Speed Boost Ability makes it even faster. Plus, it can pass these boosts (along with any other Statistic changes) to a teammate with Baton Pass, which can make whomever receives these boosts very dangerous.
Against a Ninjask, the best strategy is to not give it any time to set up because giving it time to set up will come back to haunt you later on. With the exception of Mach Punch, priority attacks will cause a lot of damage to it due to its low Defenses. A Pokémon with the Prankster Ability will cause numerous problems, either from Taunt, which will shut down any attempts of it to set up or pass Statistic changes, or Thunder Wave to slow it down. Phazing will also stop its Statistic changes, either by Ninjask directly or by the Pokémon that receive the Statistic changes. Stealth Rock will limit the number of times that it can return, while Rock Blast will break a Substitute on the first hit and KO it on subsequent hits.
