Noctowl, the Owl Pokémon, is the last stage in the evolutionary chain of the Generation II Normal/Flying type, Hoothoot. It is the twelfth Pokémon in the Johto Pokédex.

Noctowl has two abilities. The first is Insomnia. This means that Noctowl is unable to be put to Sleep. The second ability is Keen Eye. Inside of battle, this means that Noctowl's accuracy can't be lowered. Outside of battle, this lowers the chance of running into lower leveled wild Pokémon by 50%

At level 20 Hoothoot has the option to evolve into Noctowl.

Noctowl is in the egg group Flying, and will hatch after 4,080 steps. It will take a Noctowl 1,000,000 experience to reach level 100.
