Nosepass (ノズパス) is the 60th Pokémon in the Hoenn Pokédex. It is a Rock Type, and it is known as the Compass Pokémon.
Nosepass can have one of two abilities: Sturdy, an Ability that makes it immune to One-Hit KO Moves, and starting in Generation V, keeps the Pokémon from being KO'd when its HP is full; or Magnet Pull, an Ability that stops Steel Type Pokémon from running or being switched out while the user of this Ability is in battle. Due to switching being prevented, the opponent cannot substitute Pokémon on the same turn in which this Pokémon switches out of battle. Magnett Pull doesn't prevent switching by way of Baton Pass. A third Ability is available to Nosepass from the Dream World, the Sand Force Ability. This Ability increases the attack power of Ground, Rock, and Steel Type Attacks by 33% during a Sandstorm.
Nosepass could not evolve in Generation III, but could evolve from Generation IV onward. In the Generation IV games, Nosepass could evolve into Probopass if it Levels Up at Mt. Coronet; the same evolution can also be triggered by Level Up at Chargestone Cave in Black and White, along with Black 2 and White 2.
Nosepass is in the Mineral Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Nosepass One Million Experience Points to reach Level 100.
