Pay Day is a Normal-Type move that when it hits, will scatter money on the ground that will be picked up after the battle is over by the winner.

The amount of money is based on the level of the Pokémon that uses the attack. To find out how much money you will get each time you use Pay-Day, take your Pokémon's level and multiply it by 5. So if your Pokémon is level 15 it will give you $75 every time this move hits another Pokémon.

If the Pokémon that uses Pay Day is also holding an Amulet Coin or Luck Incense, the amount of money picked up as a result of using Pay Day doubles, yielding cash equivalent to the number of times Pay Day was used, then taking that figure and multiplying the user's level by 10.

In Generation I and Generation II, the amount of money collected after a battle is twice the level of the user. TM16 contained Pay Day in the First Generation.
