The Poison type is quite possibly one of the worst types in the games, defensively and offensively. They are super effective against Grass types, are not very effective against Ghost, Ground, Poison, and Rock types, have no effect against Steel types, are resistant against Bug, Fighting, Grass, and Poison types, are weak against Ground, and Psychic types, and have immunity to no types.
