About the Game:

The first Nintendo Wii Entry in the much-enjoyed Pokemon franchise. The game is a battle stadium-type game between Pokemon, and it allows you to import your Pokemon from the DS games Pokemon Diamond & Pearl to play on the big screen. It is also the first Wii game to use the Nintendo WiFi Connection for online play with Pokemon fans from all over the world!

Gameplay:

As with the previous Stadium series, you must battle all in kinds of Colosseums to prove you're the best, but now there are new rules, new pokemon, new strategies, tactics, and a whole lot more. Can you handle it?

Features:

  • Colosseum: The Colosseum are the main attractions in Pokemon Battle Revolution. There are 10 in total and each of them specialize in a certain Pokemon type, like fire or grass. Not only that, each of them also have different rules which increase the difficulty of the challenge. If you defeat all the trainers, then you are eligible to battle that Colosseum's leader. If you win, you are rewarded with special items that you can use to customize your player's appearance.
  • Pokemon: The game wouldn't be a game without the Pokemon, and this time around all 493 Pokemon can be used for battling. Just like the Stadium versions, you're allowed to use rental Pokemon to challenge the Colosseum, and now they actually have good enough stats and movesets to be useful in battle. You don't have to necessarily use these Pokemon; you can copy your hard trained Pokemon from the Diamond and Pearl games to battle against the trainers.
  • Online Play: After playing through the Story mode, next stop is the online play on Wi-Fi, where you will meet Pokemon trainers from all around the world. You can battle, trade and even chat with them, however, they are not pushovers, like the trainers in Story mode. You will be facing a real person, which means strategy and tactics are a must. Your Pokemon must be well-trained or else you won't stand a chance against the other trainers. You think you're up for the challenge?
  • Customize your Trainer: As you are playing story mode you will get money, with that money you can customize your own Pokemon Trainer! Pick what clothes they wear, skin tone, trainer card background, what they say when they win/lose/enter battles and pick what Pokemon they use and more!
