Pokémon Dash is a Pokémon racing game for the Nintendo DS platform. It was the first ever Pokémon game ever released on the DS and also the first to introduce the Pokémon Munchlax. You play the game as the main Pokémon Pikachu, using the stylus to control him. The first thing you do when playing is going to the practice mode to get the hang of using the DS's stylus and touch screen.

The game has 5 Cups: Green Cup, White Cup, Blue Cup, Yellow Cup and Red Cup, each consisting of 5 courses. The courses may differ in the different GPs and the other game modes. In order to unlock a new GP, the player needs to complete the previous GP first by winning all its five cups.

There is also a mode which allows the player to create his/her own cups with courses made of Pokémon sprites from the GBA Versions Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire, Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen and Pokémon Emerald. This mode will be unlocked together with Hard GP, after he or she has completed the Regular GP. For detailed information on those special courses, see Special Courses.

[edit] Gameplay

By using the Nintendo DS's stylus you can use the touch-screen to control Pikachu. With the stylus you're able to slide it across the screen in a motion that will make Pikachu move. The more you slide the faster he moves.

[edit] Multiplayer

By connecting with a Game Boy Advance, you are able to download 417 game courses out of the 420 total in the game. There are also three special courses that can be downloaded from official events that star Munchlax, Surfing Pikachu, and Flying Pikachu.
