Rapidash (ギャロップ) is the 78th Pokémon in the Pokédex. It is a Fire-Type, and it is know as the Fire Horse Pokémon.

Rapidash can use one of two Abilities: Run Away, which enables it to flee from any battle against a Wild Pokémon provided it isn't trapped; or Flash Fire, which increases the power of its Fire-Type moves by 50% should it get hit with a Fire-Type move. Rapidash's Hidden Ability is Flame Body, which has a 30% chance of Burning a Pokémon that uses a move that requires physical contact against it.

Ponyta evolve into Rapidash at Level 40.

Rapidash is in the Field Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Rapidash One Million Experience Points to reach Level 100.

[edit] Biology

[edit] Physiology

Rapidash is a horse-like Pokémon. It's coat is a light-cream colour, including it's horn that is at the centre of it's forehead, the horn is most likely inspired from Unicorns. Rapidash's ears are both triangular with the inner colouration red. Like it's previous evolution, it has a flame mane instead of actual hair, same with it's tail, at each of it's ankles has a flame too. All of the fire of Rapidash are coloured yellow, orange and red.

[edit] Gender Differences

Rapidash doesn't have any visible differences to differentiate between male and female.
