Roserade can have one of two Abilities: Natural Cure, which heals any status conditions that it may have become afflicted with; or Poison Point, an Ability that has a 30% chance of poisoning an opponent that uses an attack that requires physical contact against a Pokémon with this Ability, except for another Poison Type or a Steel Type, or a Pokémon that has the Immunity Ability.
Budew can evolve into a Roselia by forming a strong bond with its trainer and then levelling up during the Daytime; a Friendship evolution. Roselia can evolve into Roserade when a Shiny Stone is used on it.
Roserade is in the Egg Groups Fairy and Grass, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch; a Roselia will hatch unless the Roselia or Roserade in the breeding pair is holding a Rose Incense. If this happens, a Budew will hatch instead, requiring the same number of Steps. It takes Roserade 1,059,860 Experience Points to reach Level 100.
Roserade takes the apperance of a plant that has two bouquets of roses, one in each hand. Its head appears to be growing lightly-colored hair.
 Gender Differences
The leaf-like cape is longer on a Female Roserade than the Male Roserade.

 Anime/Manga Information
Roserade has appeared with many different trainers. Gardenia used a Roserade in a Gym Battle against Ash, whose Aipom was victorious against Gardenia's Roserade. Drew's Roselia also evolved into a Roserade, as did Nando's.
Roserade's Manga info is unknown at this time.
 Pokémon Information
 Competitive Battling
Roserade finds itself in the Underused (UU) tier of competitive battling. A high Special Attack stat and two great abilities in Natural Cure and Technician make Roserade a great offensive threat in the tier. It has a plethora of support moves, such as Sleep Powder, Spikes, and Toxic Spikes. Roserade's best set is its offensive entry hazards set with a Life Orb that can deal heavy damage with STABs Leaf Storm and Sludge Bomb. With good Special Defense, it can also act as a more passive Pokémon with a specially defensive set that can lay down entry hazards while acting as a good check to certain Water-types. However, Roserade suffers from having poor Defense and average Speed stats, which means that it can be knocked out by many Pokémon in the tier before it can do anything.
