Series 7: Best Wishes!

Best Wishes Decolora Adventure Arc

Following the events of the Diamond and Pearl series, a new adventure for Ash and Pikachu begins, as they head to the Unova region. As with previous series, Ash receives a new outfit change. He arrives with Professor Oak and his mother, Delia Ketchum, and they are introduced to the Unova region by Professor Juniper, who takes them to the lab. Ash and Pikachu encounter a legendary Pokémon: Zekrom who briefly appears and mysteriously confuses the town residents. Ash eventually decides to remain in Unova and start his new journey for the Unova League.


Ash travels throughout the Unova region with Iris, and after his first Gym Battle, Cilan joins the group as well. Ash encounters Trip as well, a photographer and who would eventually become his new rival.


*Team Rocket Trio

Team Rocket makes a return in new uniforms, having been sent to Unova on a special mission by Giovanni.



The American dubbed version is known as Pokémon Black and White and marks the return of the Who's That Pokémon? The American dub is currently split into the following seasons:

  • Pokemon: Black and White
  • Pokemon Black and White Rival Destinies
  • Pokemon Black and White Adventures in Unova
