Shinx (コリンク) is the 17th Pokémon in the Sinnoh Pokédex. It is an Electric-Type, and is known as the Flash Pokémon.
Shinx can have one of two Abilities: Rivalry, which increases its Attack and Special Attack Statistics by 25% if the opponent is of the same gender but a 25% decrease in Attack and Special Attack if the opponent is of the opposite gender; or Intimidate, which decreases the Attack of the opposing Pokémon by one stage when it enters battle. A third Ability is available to Shinx from the Dream World, the Guts Ability. This Ability increases its Attack by 50% when its afflicted with a Status Condition, and the effect of reduced attack as the result of a Burn won't be applied.
Shinx gain the opportunity to evolve into a Luxio starting at Level 15, and can evolve a second time into Luxray starting at Level 30.
Shinx is in the Field Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Shinx 1,059,860 Experience Points to reach Level 100.
