Shuppet (カゲボウズ) is the 146th Pokémon in the Hoenn Pokédex. It is a Ghost type, and is known as the Puppet Pokémon.
Shuppet's only Ability in Generation III is the Insomnia Ability, which prevents it from falling asleep from moves such as Spore, Yawn or Rest. Shuppet received a second Ability in Generation IV, the Frisk Ability, which reveals what the opposing Pokémon is using for a held item (if any). A third Ability is available to Shuppet from the Dream World, the Cursed Body Ability. This Ability has a 30% chance of Disabling an attack that hits the user of this Ability.
Shuppet gains the opportunity to evolve into Banette starting at Level 37.
Shuppet is in the Amorphous Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 6,400 Steps to hatch. It takes Shuppet 800,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.
