Silcoon (カラサリス) is the 15th Pokémon in the Hoenn Pokédex. It is a Bug Type, and is classified as a Cocoon Pokémon.

Silcoon uses the Shed Skin Ability. This Ability gives it a 1 in 3 chance of healing from one of the five major Status Conditions every turn.

Wurmple evolve into Silcoon when they reach Level 7 with a Personality Value less than or equal to 4. Silcoon gain the opportunity to evolve into Beautifly when it reaches Level 10.

Silcoon is in the Bug Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 3,840 Steps to hatch. It takes Silcoon One Million Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Silcoon takes the appearance of a light-colored cocoon with multiple spikes and two eyes at the center of its body.

Silcoon can be found at Petalbuerg Woods in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.

Silcoon appears at Eterna Forest in both Diamond and Platinum. Silcoon also appears at the Honey Trees in Diamond only, and appears at the North end of Route 205 in Platinum only.

Silcoon appears during the National Park's Bug Catching Contest on Thursday Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

Silcoon appears at Secret Storage 15, Endless Level 17, Forever Level 17 and Mr. Who's Den in Pokémon Trozei!.

Silcoon appears at Sinister Woods 4F-6F in the first Mystery Dungeon game. Silcoon inhabit Mystery Jungle B1-B29 and Lush Meadow 1F-5F in Explorers of Time, Explorers of Darkness and Explorers of Sky. Silcoon appears in all three versions of Mystery Dungeon 3. It appears in each respective games' Mystery-named area 6F-9F and each respective games' Final-named area 7F-9F.

Silcoon inhabits the Olive Jungle in Pokémon Ranger, but the Field Assist Tackle is required to shake it out of the tree that it is inhabiting. This is the only appearance in the Ranger series for Silcoon, as it does not appear in either Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia or Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs.

Silcoon can be found at Challengers' Ground Forest 1-4 in Pokémon Rumble Blast.

III Pokémon Ruby Silcoon tethers itself ot a tree branch using silk to keep from falling. There, this Pokémon hangs quietly while it awaits evolution. It peers out of the silk cocoon through a small hole.
III Pokémon Sapphire Silcoon was thought to endure hunger and not consume anything before its evolution. However, it is now thought that this Pokémon slakes its thirst by drinking rainwater that collects on its silk.
III Pokémon Emerald It prepares for evolution using the energy it stored while it was a Wurmple. It keeps watch over the surroundings with its two eyes.
III Pokémon FireRed It conserves its energy by moving as little as possible. It awaits evolution while drinking only a little rainwater.
III Pokémon LeafGreen It conserves its energy by moving as little as possible. It awaits evolution while drinking only a little rainwater.



IV Pokémon Diamond It anchors itself by wrapping twigs with the silk from its body. It motionlessly awaits evolution.
