Simple

Simple is an Ability introduced in Generation IV. Currently, five Pokémon have this Ability.

A Pokémon with the Simple Ability has their statistical modifications doubled.

For example, if a Pokémon with Simple uses Harden, it will increase its Defense by two stages instead of the normal one. A Pokémon with Simple is still limited to a maximum of six stage increases or decreases. If a Pokémon with Simple is Baton Passed stat increases or decreases, these are doubled upon being received. Conversely, if a Pokémon with Simple Baton Passes stat increases or decreases to another Pokémon, they return to their normal levels upon being received.
