Sliggoo (Kalos Mountain Pokédex. It is a Dragon-Type, and is known as the Soft Tissue Pokémon.) is the 20th Pokémon in the
Sliggoo can use one of two Abilities: Sap Sipper, which increases its Attack by one stage should it get hit with a Grass-Type move and nullifying its damage; or Hydration, which heals any Status Conditions that it has been afflicted with when it is raining. Sliggoo's Hidden Ability is Gooey, an Ability that lowers the Speed Statistic of a Pokémon that uses a physical move against it by one level.
Goomy can evolve into Sliggoo starting at Level 40, and can evolve a second time into Goodra at Level 50 while it is raining in that area (rain brought upon by Rain Dance or Drizzle will not trigger evolution.)
Sliggoo is in the Dragon Egg Group. It takes Sliggoo 1,250,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.
Sliggoo takes on the appearance of a small purple snail. Its eyes are now green in color, even though they dissolved after evolving, forcing it to rely on its other senses using its four horns. On Sliggoo's back is a small shell that hasn't fully developed.
Sliggoo doesn't have any visible differences to differentiate between male and female.

Sliggoo is in the PU tier of competitive battling. While Sliggoo is not viable in the PU tier, it is defaulted to the tier due to its viability in the Neverused (NU) tier of competitive battling. In NU, Sliggoo makes for a great special tank due to its unique mono-Dragon typing and wonderful bulk that is bolstered by Eviolite. It can handle numerous special attacking threats in the tier, such as Magmortar, Life Orb Samurott, Rotom, Ludicolo, and Lilligant. Sap Sipper is a phenomenal ability that gives it a Grass-type immunity, which allows for it to gain an Attack boost against Sleep Powder users like Lilligant and Vivillon. Curse sets it apart from other special tanks, as it can be difficult to take down after a few boosts and can serve as a win condition for defensive teams. It can also run a offensive tank set due to a versatile movepool, powerful STAB in Draco Meteor, and a decent Special Attack set. However, Sliggoo is reliant on Eviolite to handle special attackers, and it is very much crippled if it gets its Eviolite removed through Knock Off or Trick. It also relies heavily on RestTalk for recovery, which can kill the momentum of the team. Sliggoo's Defense stat is poor, making it vulnerable against strong physical attackers like Tauros, Rhydon, and Kangaskhan.
