[edit] Biology
[edit] Physiology
Slowbro despite making huge changes through evolution, it has some obvious features that shows us that it was previously a Slowpoke. It has gotten a lot bigger, it's head still looking like a Slowpoke's. It's body is still mostly pink but not only this time it has a cream-coloured muzzle, but it's belly (with some thin black stripes) is also cream-coloured. Both of it's arms have three, white claws. Slowbro also has claws on its feet, but there are only two on each foot and they are much larger than the others. Over it's tail, which is probably like Slowpoke's, is a large grey shell that appears to be 'biting' Slowbro's unseen tail.
[edit] Gender Differences
Slowbro has no gender differences.
[edit] Competitive Battling
Slowbro is in the UnderUsed (UU) tier of Competitive Battling in both Generation IV and Generation V. In Gen 4, Slowbro has to deal with competition from the likes of Lanturn and Milotic for a team slot as a bulky Water type in UU. It has a superior movepool and Defense stat when compared with these two, but it also has more exploitable weaknesses and a lackluster Special Defense stat. It's access to Slack Off greatly aids Slowbro in its mission to stop physical sweepers. In Gen 5, Slowbro has become the premier physical wall of UU and even sees OU use due to its ability to stand up to powerful physical sweepers such as Terrakion and Landorus with the greatest of ease. The addition of Scald to its movepool can make Slowbro impossible to break on the physical side should you get the 30% burn chance. However, the greatest improvement for Slowbro comes from the Dream World. Its DW ability, Regenerator, allows it to recover 33% of its HP just by switching out of a counter. This makes status like burn and poison less crippling and also allows Slowbro to switch into physical attackers time after time and still be healthy when it comes back in.
