Slurpuff (ペロリーム) the 132nd Pokémon in the Kalos Central Pokédex. It is a Fairy-Type, and is known as the Meringue Pokémon.

Slurpuff uses the Sweet Veil Ability, an Ability that protects itself from becoming afflicted with the Sleep Status Condition, which extends to its allies while it is in a Double or Triple Battle. Slurpuff's Hidden Ability is Unburden, which doubles its Speed once it uses its Hold Item.

Swirlix can evolve into Slurpuff if it is traded while holding a Whipped Dream.

Slurpuff is in the Fairy Egg Group. It takes Slurpuff One Million Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Pokémon Information

Competitive Battling

Slurpuff resides in the Borderline 2 (BL2) tier of competitive battling, which means that it is banned from the Rarelyused (RU) tier but not used enough to be in the Underused (UU) tier. With a great ability in Unburden to go along with Belly Drum and a Sitrus Berry, Slurpuff is one of the most threatening late game sweepers in the Underused metagame. It can become an unstoppable threat once its counters, such as Forretress and Mega Aggron, are out of the way or severely weakened. Slurpuff also has a nice defensive typing that allows it to set up on Pokemon like Hydreigon, Mienshao, and Heracross. However, Slurpuff often will only get one chance to set up due to how Unburden works and the fact that it sacrifices 50% of its health with Belly Drum.
