Snorunt only had one Ability when it was introduced in the Generation III games, the Inner Focus Ability. This Ability prevents it from flinching, even if it got hit by Fake Out but it won't prevent flinching due to using Focus Punch. A second Ability was added to Snorunt in Generation IV, the Ice Body Ability. This Ability restores its HP while it is hailing. A third Ability is available to Snorunt from the Dream World, the Moody Ability. Users of this Ability have one of their statistics increased by two stages at random, whilst a different stat is lowered by one stage. It works like a random trade-off.
Snorunt takes on the appearance of a snow fairy that is wearing a winter hat.
 Gender Differences
Snorunt doesn't have any visible differences to differentiate between male and female.
