Snorunt (ユキワラシ) is the 171st Pokémon in the Hoenn Pokédex. It is an Ice-Type, and it is known as the Snow Hat Pokémon.
Snorunt only had one Ability when it was introduced in the Generation III games, the Inner Focus Ability. This Ability prevents it from flinching, even if it got hit by Fake Out but it won't prevent flinching due to using Focus Punch. A second Ability was added to Snorunt in Generation IV, the Ice Body Ability. This Ability restores its HP while it is hailing. A third Ability is available to Snorunt from the Dream World, the Moody Ability. Users of this Ability have one of their statistics increased by two stages at random, whilst a different stat is lowered by one stage. It works like a random trade-off.
Snorunt gain the opportunity to evolve into a Glalie starting at Level 42. Starting in Generation IV, a Female Snorunt can evolve into a Froslass if a Dawn Stone is used on it.
Snorunt is in the Egg Groups Fairy and Mineral, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Snorunt One Million Experience Points to reach Level 100.
