Swadloon (クルマユ) is the 47th Pokémon in the Unova Pokédex. It is a Bug/Grass type, and it is known as the Leaf-Wrapped Pokémon.

Swadloon's ability is Leaf Guard, which heals this Pokémon's status problems during strong sunlight, and Chlorophyll, which doubles the Pokémon's speed when the weather is Sunny, however this takes effect the turn after the weather became sunny. A third Ability is available to Swadloon from the Dream World, the Overcoat Ability, which prevents this Pokémon from taking damage from weather effects, protecting it from the damage caused by Sandstorm and Hail.

Swadloon evolved from Sewaddle when it reached Level 20. In order for Swadloon to evolve into Leavanny, a strong bond must be forged between the trainer and Pokémon, along with a subsequent Level Up. This is also known as a Friendship Evolution.

Swadloon is in the Bug Egg Group, and its Egg will take approximately 3,840 steps to hatch. It takes Swadloon 1,059,860 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Swadloon can be found at Route 6, inside the Pinwheel Forest, and at Lostlorn Forest in Black and White, and can also be found in the same locations in Black 2 and White 2.

Swadloon appears at the Arcane Area's Lakeshore in PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond. It can be befriended by giving it a total of 50 Items.

Swadloon appears at Greenleaf and Pupa Nation in Pokémon Conquest.

Ash's Sewaddle evolved into a Swadloon while battling Burgh's Whirlipede during the episode Battling For The Love of Bug-Types!. After evolving, it would defeat Whirlipede before losing to Burgh's Leavanny.

Ash would continue to use Swadloon until it evolved into a Leavanny in an upcoming episode.
