Swinub (ウリムー) is the 195th Pokémon in the Johto Pokédex. It is an Ice/Ground Type, and is known as the Pig Pokémon.
Swinub can use one of two Abilities: Oblivious, which protects it from becoming infatuated with an opposing Pokémon of the opposite gender; or Snow Cloak, which increases its Evasion by one stage during a Hailstorm. A third Ability is available to Swinub from the Dream World, the Thick Fat Ability. This Ability reduces the damage that it takes from Fire-Type and Ice-Type moves by 50%.
Swinub gain the opportunity to evolve into Piloswine starting at Level 33. Starting in Generation IV, a Piloswine can evolve into a Mamoswine if it Levels Up whilst knowing the move Ancientpower.
Swinub is in the Field Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Swinup 1,250,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.
