Wild Swoobat appear in the episode Emolga the Irresistible!, but wouldn't be used by a trainer until a photographer named Robert used one in the episode The Four Seasons of Sawsbuck!. Skyla, the leader of the Mistralton Gym, would also use a Swoobat in two upcoming episodes.
Wild Swoobat appear in both versions of Pokémon Movie 14.
Swoobat's Manga Information is unknown as of writing.
Swoobat is listed in the Never-Utilized Tier of Competitive Battling due to having sub-par defenses and typing that leaves something to be desired. It does have a high Speed; of all the Pokémon that can use both Reflect and Light Screen in the NU Tier it is the fastest, and can also use Calm Mind. Calm Mind won't work well without the right support, however.
