Tentacool (メノクラゲ) is the 72nd Pokémon in the Pokédex. It is a Water/Poison-Type, and is known as the Jellyfish Pokémon.

Tentacool can use one of two Abilities: Clear Body, which prevents opponents from lowering its Statistics but it can still lower its own Statistics via its own moves; or Liquid Ooze, which causes opponents that use energy-draining attacks on it to lose HP instead of recovering. Its Hidden Ability is Rain Dish, which restores one-sixteenth of its Maximum HP at the end of each turn in which it is raining heavily.

Tentacool gain the opportunity to evolve into a Tentacruel starting at Level 30.

Tentacool is in the Water 3 Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Tentacool 1,250,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Physiology

Tentacool's appearance is inspired from the Jellyfish. Its body is mostly blue, with two red crystal-like features on the side. Tentacool has two tentacles that come from the bottom of its body; each tentacle is poisonous.

Gender Differences
