Tirtouga (プロトーガ) is the 70th Pokémon in the Unova Pokédex. It is a Water/Rock Type, and it is known as the Prototurtle Pokémon.

Tirtouga'a Ability Sturdy prevents it from being KO'd by any attack if its HP is full and protects it from OHKO moves, while its other Ability Solid Rock reduces damage from Super Effective moves by 25%. Its Hidden Ability is Swift Swim, which doubles its Speed when it is raining. This does not take effect on the same turn in which is starts to rain, however.

Tirtouga gain the opportunity to evolve into Carracosta starting at level 37.

Tirtouga is in the Water 1 and Water 3 Egg Groups, and it will take approximately 7,680 Steps for its Egg to hatch. It takes Tirtouga One Million Experience Points to reach Level 100.
