Torchic (アチャモ) is the fourth Pokémon in the Hoenn Pokédex. It is a Fire Type, and is known as the Chick Pokémon.
Torchic has the ability Blaze. With this ability, the power of Torchic's Fire-Type attacks increases by 50% once its HP falls below one-third of its maximum. Torchic from the Dream World can have a second ability, called Speed Boost. Every turn that this Pokémon is in play its Speed stat increases by one stage, but this does not take effect on the turn that this Pokémon is switched into the battle, or at the start of a battle.
Torchic can evolve into Combusken starting at Level 16, and a second time into Blaziken starting at Level 36.
Torchic is in the Field Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Torchic 1,059,860 Experience Points to reach Level 100.
