Totodile is one of the starter pokemon obtainable in Johto Region. It has starting moves of Scratch and Leer. It looks like a small alligator, it is bipedal and has sharp calws as well as strong jaws.
It evolves into Croconaw starting at level 18, then into Feraligatr starting at level 30.

In The Anime
Ash owns a totodile with an easily excited nature, it is caught in a Quick Ball by Ash after him and Misty had a fight over it with her being the water Specilist. This was then decided over a battle between Ash and Misty as to who would own the Totodile.
