Home town of main character, Rival, and Prof. Oak.
Starting town of Pokemon Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow.
Trainers can choose between Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squritle as their starting Pokemon.

• Viridian City

Location of 8th gym. (Locked until Giovanni is defeated twice.)
Route 22, West of Viridian City, leads to the Pokemon League.

• Pewter City

Location of 1st gym.
Old Amber can be obtained (After receiving HM1.)

• Cerulean City

Location of 2nd gym.
Location of Cerulean Cave. (Locked until trainer defeats Elite Four.)
Bicycle can be obtained (After Bike Voucher is obtained.)

• Vermillion City

Location of 3rd gym.
Bike Voucher can be obtained.
Location of S.S. Anne

• Lavendar Town

Location of Pokemon Tower
Poke Flute can be obtained. (After saving Mr. Fuji.)

• Celadon City

Location of 4th gym.
Location Rocket Hideout. (First Giovani battle.)
Silph Scope can be obtained. (After First Giovani battle.)

• Fuchisa City

Location of 5th gym.
Location of Safari Zone.

• Saffron City

Location of 6th gym.
Location of Second Giovani battle.
Master Ball can be obtained. (After Second Giovani battle.)
Location of the Fighting Dojo.
Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan can be obtained.

• Cinnabar Island

Location of 7th gym.
Location of Pokemon Lab.
