A Pokémon trainer is a person who has, and trains Pokémon. Trainers vary from 10 year old kids, to elderly people. When a child turns 10 years of age, they can officially get their first Pokémon, and begin their Pokémon Journey, collecting Gym badges, Pokémon league battles, and battling other people with Pokémon.
