Tympole (オタマロ) is the 41st Pokémon in the Unova Pokédex. It is a Water Type, and it is known as the Tadpole Pokémon.

Tympole's two abilities are Swift Swim, which doubles its speed when rainy, however this won't take effect on the same turn the weather becomes rainy; and Hydration, which heals all status problems when it is raining. A third Ability is available to Tympole from the Dream World, the Water Absorb Ability, which restores up to 1/4 of it's maximum Hit Points when hit with a Water-type move.

Tympole can evolve twice. Their first opportunity to evolve comes at Level 25, when it can evolve into Palpitoad. It can evolve a second time at Level 36, when it can evolve into Seismitoad.

Tympole is in the Water 1 Egg Group, and its Egg will take approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Tympole 1,059,860 Experience Points to reach Level 100.
