Tyrunt (チゴラス) is the 64th Pokémon in the Kalos Coastal Pokédex. It is a Rock/Dragon-Type, and is known as the Royal Heir Pokémon.

Tyrunt uses the Strong Jaw Ability, an Ability that increases the power of biting attacks by 50%. Tyrunt's Hidden Ability is Sturdy, which prevents it from being knocked out at full health with one move.

Tyrunt is revived from the Jaw Fossil, and gain the opportunity to evolve into Tyrantrum starting at Level 39 in the Daytime.

Tyrunt is in the Egg Groups Monster and Dragon. It takes Tyrunt One Million Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Tyrunt takes on the appearance of a juvenile Tyrannosaurus Rex. It has a large head with a powerful jaw and a pair of sturdy legs. Like the dinosaur species that it's based off of, its arms are much shorter in comparison.

Tyrunt can be obtained by reviving the Jaw Fossil in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. To revive the fossil you'll have to take the fossil to the Lab in Ambrette Town.
