Unfezant (ケンホロウ) is the 27th Pokémon in the Unova Pokédex. It is a Normal/Flying Type, and it is known as the Pride Pokémon.

Unfezant can have one of two Abilities: Big Pecks, which prevents its Defense from being lowered, and Super Luck, which increases the Critical Hit Ratio of its moves. A third Ability is available to Unfezant that come from the Dream World, the Rivalry Ability. This Ability increases its Attack when it is battling an opponent of the same gender, but reduces its Attack instead if it battles an opponent of the opposite gender.

Pidove can evolve into Tranquill at Level 21, and can evolve into Unfezant at Level 32.

Unfezant is in the Flying Egg Group, and its egg takes approximately 3,860 Steps to hatch. It takes Unfezant 1,059,860 Experience Points to reach Level 100.

There are two features that distinguish between male and female Unfezant. The male has what appears to be a red mask over its face, and it extends town towards its wings. The female does not have this. Second, the color pattern on Unfezant's midsection differs between the males and females.

Unfezant appears at Route 12, Pinwheel Forest, Lostlorn Forest regardless of the season, and at Routes 6 & 7 and Dragonspiral Tower during the Spring, Summer, and Autumn months in Black and White. In Black 2 and White 2, Unfezant appears at Routes 3, 6, 7, 12, and Victory Road in all seasons, and at Dragonspiral Tower in every season except Winter.

Unfezant appears at B2 of World Axle Treetops in Pokémon Rumble Blast. This is the only Spin-Off game appearance for Unfezant as of writing.

Unfezant is listed in the NU, or Never-Utilized Tier of Competitive Battling due to lacking access to Drill Peck and Brave Bird, but does provide support options, including Hypnosis and Taunt. It also gained access to Heat Wave in Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2, which prevents Steel-Types from completely walling it but its Special Attack isn't that high.
