 Pokémon Information
 Competitive Battling
Uxie resides in the Rarelyused (RU) tier of competitive battling. With a great support movepool that consists of Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave, U-turn, and dual screens, Uxie can be quite an effective team supporter. It has solid 75/130/130 bulk and a decent base 95 Speed stat that is quite fast for a defensive Pokémon. Its best set is a defensive utility set that can provide Stealth Rock support and act as a decent pivot with U-turn. It can also run an effective dual screens set that can set up Reflect and Light Screen without too much trouble and allow for a set up sweeper to take advantage of bolstered defenses through Memento. Uxie's biggest flaws are its lack of offensive prowess which can severely hamper its usefulness on certain team archetypes, a mediocre defensive typing that gives it crippling weaknesses to Dark and Ghost, and a lack of reliable recovery which can lead to it getting worn down.
Uxie is also a viable option in the Underused (UU) tier of competitive battling. With solid defenses and Levitate to give it a Ground immunity as well as an immunity to Spikes and Toxic Spikes, Uxie can act as a decent utility Pokémon for balance teams. With useful support moves in Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave, and U-turn, Uxie is a solid pivot and can outspeed other bulky Pokémon due to its nice base 95 Speed. The flaws of Uxie are that it has a mediocre defensive typing that leaves it weak to Knock Off and Pursuit, it lacks reliable recovery, and is outclassed by Cresselia for the most part outside of pivot and Stealth Rock support.
