Its Hidden Ability is Weak Armor, which lowers its Defense stat by one stage when it is hit with an attack, while raising its Speed by two stages.

Vanillish takes the appearance of an ice cream cone. The top part is white with a face and multiple ice cubes. The bottom part is light blue and has the appearance of an icicle.

Vanillish can be found at Dragonspiral Tower during the Winter months in Black and White. In Black 2 and White 2, Vanillish appears within Giant Chasm regardless the season, and appears at Dragonspiral Tower during the Winter Months.
Vanillish can also be found at the Dream World location Icy Cave after obtaining more than 5,000 Dream Points, but this only happens for the Black 2 and White 2 versions of the Dream World.
In Pokémon X and Y, the only way to obtain Vanillish is to evolve a Vanillite. In Pokémon Sun and Moon, it can be caught in the wild at Mount Lanakila when called on in an S.O.S. Battle while it is hailing.
Vanillish appears at the World Axle Glacier B2 in Pokémon Rumble Blast.
