Venus is one of the four Cipher Admins in Pokémon Colosseum for the Nintendo GameCube. She is the third one that Wes and Rui fight, and she has a Shadow Suicune at her disposal to defeat them. Her domain is The Under, where she is practically worshiped as a goddess by many of the residents.
As she is worshiped so highly, she is almost always featured on The Under Time, the TV News station for The Under. However, she is also a powerful battler, granting her the right to become a Cipher Admin. When she gets word that Wes and Rui have defeated Dakim on Mt. Battle, she immediately uses her "star role" to tell everyone of spies that have infiltrated The Under. However, people mistake Silva for Wes, and they capture him instead, allowing Wes to roam freely.
Venus is a stereo-typical female in many ways. Most of her Pokémon are those that she finds "cute", rather than those that could be strategically used. She does find a strategy for each of her Pokémon however, and works that to the bone in order to wipe out all of her opponents.
When defeated, she runs away, showing a rather cowardly side. After she is defeated on-air, on The Under Time, she runs down to the Shadow Liner, Cipher's transport train. Foolishly, however, she dropped the key on her way down, allowing Wes and Rui to get inside of the area. She had already run away, but they found the Shadow Pokémon Lab using the train.
Venus once again appeared at Realgam Tower, where she was again defeated by Wes, and she forked over the Blue ID Card that allowed him entrance further into the tower when all four of the ID Cards were gathered up together.
Later, despite the fact that Cipher had already been defeated, Venus appears at the Deep Colosseum as an opponent in the Final Battle of Round 3. She still has the rank Cipher Admin, which is a possible foreshadowing towards the next game, Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness.
In battle, Venus uses the move Attract to constantly irritate her opponent, and take away their ability to attack. All of her Pokémon (except for Shadow Suicune) know this technique and use it often. She also uses other status-inflicting attacks (such as Sweet Kiss, Stun Spore and Will-O-Wisp) to layer different statuses on to the opponent's Pokémon, making them weaker and harder to work with depending on what they are inflicted with. For example, if a Pokémon is paralyzed, confused, and in love with the opposing Pokémon, the chances of it attacking are slim-to-none.
