Watchog (ミルホッグ) is the 11th Pokémon in the Unova Pokédex. It is a Normal Type, and it is known as the Lookout Pokémon.
Watchog's two abilities are Illuminate, an ability that increases the chances of encountering a Wild Pokémon, and Keen Eye, which prevents accuracy loss. A third Ability is available to Watchog that come from the Dream World, the Analytic Ability. When it has this Ability and moves last, the power of its Attacks increase by 30%.
Patrat evolves into Watchog at Level 20.
Watchog is in the Field Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Watchog One Million Experience Points to reach Level 100.

Watchog is a meerkat-like Pokémon that has brown fur with yellow stripes. It stands upright so it can better observe its surroundings, using its tail to keep itself balanced.

Watchog appears on Route 1 in the area that's accessible by using Surf, along with Routes 7, 15, 18, the Dreamyard and P2 Laboratory in Black and White. In Black 2 and White 2, appears at Routes 1-3, 7 & 17, the Dreamyard and the P2 Laboratory, along with a Hidden Grotto on Routes 2 and 7.

Watchog appears at Sea Song Beach in the Cove Area in PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond after retrieving it from Wish Park. To befriend it, you need to reach a chest whilst surviving its attacks, but it can't be called into battle.

Watchog first appeared as one of Lenora's Pokémon in episode 14 of the Best Wishes series, where it used its Illuminate attack to reveal Yamask's location.
Lenora's Watchog also appeared in episode 15 of the Best Wishes series where it battled Ash's Oshawott, which it defeated using Thunderbolt. It appeared again in episode 16, where Ash finally managed to defeat it using Oshawott's Aqua Jet.
