Whismur (ゴニョニョ) is the 45th Pokémon in the Hoenn Pokédex. It is a Normal Type, and it is known as the Whisper Pokémon.
Whismur has the Soundproof Ability. This Ability gives it an immunity to sound-based attacks such as Screech, Uproar, and Perish Song, just to name a few examples. However, should this Pokémon switch out with Baton Pass, the Pokémon that comes in to replace it will still be affected by Perish Song. A second Ability is available to Whismur from the Dream World, the Rattled Ability. Should it get hit by a Bug-Type or Dark-Type move its Speed Stat will increase by one stage. The ability can also be activated if it gets hit by a Ghost-Type attack, but Whismur is immune to Ghost-Type attacks due to its typing unless it gets hit by the move Soak.
Whismur gain the opportunity to evolve into Loudred when it reaches Level 20. It can evolve a second time into Exploud starting at Level 40.
Whismur is in the Egg Groups Monster and Field, and its Egg takes approximately 5,120 Steps to hatch. It takes Whismur 1,059,860 Experience Points to reach Level 100.
