Yungoos can possess one of two abilities; Stakeout, which allows it to deal twice the damage to an opponent switching or entering the field mid-battle, as well as Strong Jaw, which increases the power of biting moves by 50%. Its Hidden Ability is Adaptability, which increases the power of moves that are the same type as the Pokémon.
Yungoos evolves into Gumshoos when it reaches Level 20 during the day.
Yungoos is in the Field Egg Group, and its Egg takes approximately 3,840 steps to hatch. It takes Yungoos 1,000,000 Experience Points to reach Level 100.
Yungoos can be caught in Pokémon Sun and Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon on Route 1, Route 2, Route 4, Route 6, Route 8 and Kala'e Bay. In Sun and Moon, it can also be found at Route 3 and Hau'oli City. It can also be caught in Verdant Cavern exclusively in Sun and Ultra Sun.
